(Hatchling's Favourite Dragon) Makes sweet toys for the hatchlings born or adopted into this clan Ester's story starts with her first and only nest of eggs, a lonely pair which she loved with all her heart. She took care of them all by herself as her mate was no where to be found but she spent every waking moment warming and talking to the eggs. To keep her hands busy on the long days, she started creating toys for the twins, knowing they would love them as they grew. Ester started small, chiseling a little horse from a chunk of wood, she sang as she worked. She carried on creating toy after toy, with her wings over the two unmoving eggs. Since this was her first nest, she didn't know how long it took for the eggs to hatch, so she waited and waited with baited breath. After a while she started to worry, why weren't they hatching? Ester picked up one of the eggs and noticed for the first time that it's bright green leaves had wilted and some were greying and drying up. Her heart caught in her throat as she scrambled to pick up the other and noticed just the same dying leaves. She gathered both eggs up in a panic, holding them tightly to her chest and run off towards the nearest township. Ester hoped against hope that there would be someone who could help, so when she stumbled into the clan healer's cave entrance. Spring, the resident healer caught the distraught dragon as she collapsed in tears. Without asking her, he could already see the greying eggs in her arms, he knew parting the mother and her eggs wouldn't help. So he just picked up them all and carried them into the healing waters. Ester sobbed, sitting in the chest high waters but managed to keep the eggs underwater as the water bubbled and foamed. Spring sat on the edge of the pool, keeping her company and softly rubbing her back. Slowly he watched the grey leak from the eggs and the vivid teal waters brightened the remaining leaves and they started to rustle and crack. Ester's breath stopped as chunks of egg fell off both eggs and small faces peered up at her, chittering happily as they saw their loving mother. She burst into tears once again but this time happy tears, clutching the twin hatchlings to her, softly singing to them. The twins and Ester joined the township, with the caring Spring's help they settled in well. Ester settled into a position where she made toys for hatchlings as her love for every miracle-child grew every day. She even creates dolls for the elemental festivals that mimic their respective dragons.

Ester Iris's (and her twins) house sits just on the edge of the H District with only a few close neighbours. It was built with privacy and space in mind for all three of them, so they could have their room as their own separate space.
The twin's rooms stand on individual stilts above the balcony area, with only a trading pipe between them, so they can send each other messages and pranks. Ester's bedroom is a floor below and is full to the brim with handmade toys and all the materials that go into making them from scratch. On the bottom floor is an open plan kitchen, living area, and dining room with enough space for the twins to play.
