One of Hastur's offspring: Charged with watching over the Sealed beast.

A black Imperial with golden runes that claims descent from something they didn't understand. Claiming the roll of her sister, she took charge of the Sealed beast and all seemed well. It wasn't until her wings and hide took the image of an eclipse that they started to question. Her words of a 'Hollow Sun' meant nothing to them, but they tolerated it as long as she kept to her duty.

Then one night, after an audience with one of her siblings, a great feeling of horror crept through the lair. The horrific screams and sounds of shredding flesh kept even the strongest away. Eventually the feeling of an immense presence passed and the ever glowing light from her room dimmed. Silence ruled the lair. Until one could hear the soft sound of metal chimed against itself.

She had changed once again. Her eyes slowly opened.

All of them.

She could see them.

All of them.

In them. Through them.

So could it. And her words burned in the minds of those around her. The words of The Hollow Sun.

The Hollow Sun is thing that does not reside in this world, a thing who's form could only be truly held by space. Its influence can be felt in this world however, and one might catch a glimpse of it in certain places, upon the time of the eclipse.

It is the source of the warning on why you are told not to stare at the sun during the eclipse. Not simply a matter of protecting your eyes, but to behold even a fraction of its image is to have it forever branded in your mind.

A void that burns.
