Biography

Bard ⠀» ⠀ Emissary of the Prismatics
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Despite being by Rauken’s side through nearly all of the founding of the Flock, Bard was not spared by Rauken’s paranoia fueled rampage. Accused of treason and refused a fair trial, he was forced to leave the Flock with the rest of the Prismatics.

Unfortunately, his skillset doesn’t align very well with the ideals of his faction. As such, when The Interim occurred and the Prismatics had to select a candidate to send to the council, the choice was between Bard and Melville. Ultimately, Prism herself determined that Bard was better equipped to carry out the mission, and he was sent to the council.

Burdened with renewed purpose, Bard endeavored to fulfill his orders to the best of his ability. Prism had decided that it was in the best interest of the faction to delay any resolution to current conflicts. She sent Bard to play the long game and drag any possible progress to the point of standstill.

At some point, contact between the Emissaries and the factions was severed, and Bard has been in a holding pattern ever since, obstructing progress towards peace to the best of his ability, completely blind to the outside world. This time, he will not disappoint his leader.

I will tell you the ancient tales
long forgotten and lost.
The wind has whispered them to me
at my heavy cost.

For this secret knowledge
I sacrificed a home.
I lost all my security
My destiny - to roam.

I will gather the stories
I will gather the lore
To send it floating along
so Lady Wind has more.
