Biography

Hardy Antler

The rushing of wings fills the air and a dragon clad in dusky purple alights on the cracked, dull stone balcony of the towers.

"We've been here for too long." It speaks in a croaking, graveled voice as it stares out over the fields. "The curse continues to eat away at the veil and the next targets will be you as soon as the Towers fail. The monsters in the fields will turn on you."

"I'm aware." The dragon responds coolly. "But we have done all that we can to --"

"Do not be a fool." Iapetus says sharply, its tone like a knife. "Leave this place, release us from this prison and the curse will leave this place. You will be spared.”

The dragon turns. "Spared? Bah. Maybe initially, but once we allow the lights to go out completely, you’ll turn on us. Your Queen will order our complete destruction the moment he sets claw on this land. You, my dear Iapetus, are delusional if you think otherwise.”

Iapetus stares blankly at the dragon before craning its head towards the fields. “Fools.” It hisses, launching itself off the tower and into the encroaching darkness.
