Lorekeeper

Lorekeeper is, as one would guess, the keeper of the Spyrefall Clan's lore. He is constantly surrounded by old scrolls and books and smells of ink and parchment. He was born in the Snowsqualltundra of the Southern Icefield, but gave up his homeland for the warmer – and more scholarly – climate of Crystalspire.

His love for lore serves him well in entertaining hatchlings, as they all love to hear his stories. He, in turn, loves to tell tales of the old and great. In fact, that is how he met his mate Clockwork: his tales were some of the few things that actually kept her attention outside of her tinkering.

Lorekeeper is very much in love with Clock, and is much loved in return. If one were to ask if he cared that she was a common Ridgeback, he would angrily reply that species does not matter to him, and please mind your own business.

Insulting Clock is one of the few ways of making Lorekeeper angry.

Clock gave him the tail bauble that he wears on him constantly, and the simple copper bracelets they both wear are a sign of their love.

Lorekeeper sees his job as even more important after the loss of his clan’s home: He is determined to keep everyone’s histories, and can often be found in the library working with a begrudging Atorian to transcribe it all. His brother Bookkeeper and familiar Sun, a Sunspot Clouddancer, will then organize the transcriptions, as Lorekeeper has no head for organization. He worries about how the loss of the Spyre Falls is affecting his family, but is just glad he didn’t lose them.

His favorite flower is the marigold.
