Biography
//savant blood mage, collects powerful blood in vials she wears around her like a bandolier. she can make weapons out of blood, or use the powers for a very brief moment. studying under dana.
Haeata Lada "Lambda" Urusov
The world which Delta is brought into is very different to that of his elder siblings. He and his twin sister Lambda are born when Koschei has settled into his role as Spymaster- instead of reigning king- and when his mother has full control over her own lifeforce- instead of a slowly learning undead. It is not entirely peaceful, with a turf war looming on the horizon, but that isn't important to the new royal children. Delta finds himself to be fourth in line to the throne of the Thanatos Syndicate, but that's far enough down that, whilst he is inundated with lessons and tutors, he isn't held to quite the same standard that his brothers were.
The youngest of the Urusovs, Lambda was born a few hours after her brother. Their world was different to their elder siblings, with Koschei no longer being a king, and Nakahi having regained all of her autonomy. They were both, however, mostly kept inside. A war was brewing, and they were precious beyond anything. They couldn't be put in any danger. But danger is something Lambda has always been interested in- not in the traditional way, but in an analytical way.
She has a mind like a steel trap. From a young age she could be found with her nose in a book, and not age appropriate ones. Her forte was biology, to the glee of her mother. Nakahi quickly scooted her towards Dana (though Dana always asked why she was the one doing the teaching, not Nakahi, a valid question laughed off quickly, leaving her with no definite answer); and so Dana ended up with an apprentice.
Lambda is closest to Rho, when it comes to attitude. She does not flourish in crowds, she does not charm with the first word she speaks to a stranger. She does not like to mingle with the rich and famous, and she does not particularly enjoy drinking. She would rather spend her day in the morgue. What Lambda cherishes is science. She takes in diagrams with the frightening accuracy of a mathematician; not that she's a savant, she works hard and dives headfirst into difficulties until they're solved.
Perhaps the best word would be problem-solver. At times, she can appear to be haughty, observing the situations around her from beneath a rather unnerving looking mask; and when she does speak, it is reminiscent of her eldest brother, not in telepathy but in the monotone, clipped, her voice as sharp as the scalpels she has on her person (just in case). The truth is a lot more simple- it's a persona that keeps her safe. She is genuinely interested in biology, in medicine; she also happens to be a damn good mage, the only one in the family who was born with blood magic, something she practices behind closed doors; but she just finds people intimidating.
It's a lot simpler to spend her time with people who don't talk back. Being alone is best, or with someone she trusts; it's best not to tease her on how she'll follow her siblings around like a lost duckling, not paying attention except interlacing her bandaged hands with theirs, a silent royal shadow. Her current duties include everything Dana tells her to (she called her big sis once and Dana never recovered), and studying new medical texts. She has begun to write her own, hoping to publish them and with it, find more confidence outside of that mask, with it's eerie, white eyes.
