Biography

Naxo was one of thirty children to two dragons who were known as Hymn and Karma. His clan was only made up of Plague dragons, and all of them were hard-edged survivors, believing in pain, suffering, decay, and disease.

Naxo didn't think it had to be this way - he thought all of Sornieth was interesting, and wanted to see all that the world had to offer. He'd often try to sneak away and visit other regions of Sornieth, only to be caught and scolded by his parents - they always told him that it was only the Plague way of life that was acceptable. One day when Naxo was an adolescent, he decided to visit the Viridian Labyrinth, but was chased away. His parents continued to warn him, but Naxo's rebellious habits continued. Eventually, he wasn't even allowed to take part in the clan's gatherings.

One day, when Naxo was a young adult, he saw a group of Serthis approaching; the day prior, his clan kidnapped a young Serthis from a nearby clan and held her hostage. Naxo heavily disagreed with the clan's decision to do such a thing - he wanted the Serthis to be returned home safely. He guessed that the Serthis were planning to get revenge, and tried to let the clan know. Nobody in the clan believed him, or was willing to let the Serthis free, since Naxo was heavily shunned by his clanmates by this point.

However, the clan realized that Naxo was correct. A Serthis male, presumably the leader, asked for his daughter back. Naxo's original clan refused, and a battle broke out - Naxo attempted to save as many as he could, but fled once he realized how much danger he was in. He was badly shaken from the incident, and spent several days living on his own.

While he was running away, he met another dragon he knew in his youth - her name was Harper, and she was a Guardian from another Plague clan. He remembered that he used to spend time exploring Sornieth with her, and they decided to start a clan together on the edge of the Scarred Wasteland and the Tangled Wood, with the belief they always had - to allow anyone in Sornieth to feel like they belonged.

Naxo eventually named one of his first sons, Hymn, after his father. He may not have agreed with his father in many aspects, but he still misses him, and wishes his father could have possibly changed his ways.

Nowadays, Naxo and Harper are the leaders of Crow Callers. They had originally planned to name their clan something that related to the phoenix, due to how they had risen out of the ashes, but realized that such a name would be more fitting for a Fire clan. Crows were selected as the clan's motif due to how they fit more with the Plague/Shadow theme - and how crows symbolize intelligence and flexibility.

"Our clans used to neighbor each other, so I'd often see her while gathering. We became friends due to having something in common - strict parents. We used to explore all the time in our youth - but after the Beastclans raid, I feared I'd never see her again. After we met up again, we decided to fall in love."
