Biography
Of ungodly power but repressed emotions, Sintilatin's unable to harness his potential for good, no matter how hard he tries.
Hailed as the dragon of chapped lips and dead eyes, he's considered the walking embodiment of a dampened mood. Few willingly volunteer to speak with him, and those that do quickly regret it. Quite the peculiar sight, Sin has a black tongue and several extra pairs of wings that resemble those of an Omen Seeker. A murder of those small, particular birds follow him everywhere, hovering right below the storm at his heels, and his arrival's inevitably announced long before he can be seen. Even with claws and teeth that look suspiciously sharpened, he flinches away when others touch him. Regardless of the circumstances, he refuses to venture indoors. Being severely impaired visually, any amount of light seems to hurt his eyes while they're uncovered, and thus he prefers to be blindfolded and travel in the dead of night. A perk to naturally drawing in birds is that he can see through their eyes at will. He's careful to keep this as much of a secret as possible, for fear of them being unjustly targeted (as they have in the past). If one were to talk with him, to truly desire the secrets to flow from his lips, they would hear and they would understand. He was once locked away in a lab room, far underground, and his mind was experimented on in comparison to that of an Omen Seeker. With an uncanny level of intelligence and the way his eyes twitch around when uncovered, you should know, but you wouldn't. A series of strange mind games and tests haunt his sleep, and he's peppered relentlessly with nightmares. What he really aches for is someone to quietly hold him during the night, asking no questions and allowing him to sob all of his sorrows into their fur. The little birds are all he has, for now. |

- has hollow bones, feathers in his hair, three pairs of feathery bird wings, (crow feet?)
- is light enough to fly, but his feathery wings are too weak to hold his weight
- tiny in gijinka form (5'0"?)
- can vaguely see shadows if in the right circumstances
- can see through his birds' eyes at will, a common telltale sign is when one's perched on his head/back in dragon form or shoulder in gijinka
- has nO self confidence in himself
- there's a permanent undertone of sadness in his voice when he speaks, regardless of what he says
- can't physically speak above a whisper, tho he can caw and purr, and noises in general are much easier on him
- all the experimentation has left him terribly frail
- the entirety of his tail is covered with feathers
- naturally heals rapidly, and thus can withstand a short burst of abuse, if needed, tho anything beyond that will quickly become life threatening
- his ability to heal can be detrimental with a broken bone, esp if it isn't set properly beforehand
- is sometimes so sensitive to touch and sound that it hURTS and is overwhelming
- loathes being the center of attention, almost even when it's one-on-one, and will request the one(s) he's conversing with to not look at him
- would've taken himself out long before now if not for his birds
- can permanently link minds with another if he trusts them, has no idea that he has this ability, yet
- morally grey, his and his birds' survival comes above all others, first
- has difficulties with short-term memory
- only wears shirts when necessary because of his wings
- drapes a set of wings over himself like a cloak
- prefers to sleep in a tree, on his belly (bonus points if he's able to sleep on another), or curled up on his side
- hATES being wet, for any reason
- the reason for this aversion is because he spent a lOT of time floating in tanks
- this makes keeping himself clean, especially after a fight, Difficult
- take dirt baths to compensate, but it doesn't help his appearance much when needing to socialize
- though he can see through his birds', he prefers to use his hands when possible
- when confronted, if he cAN'T escape, he'll go on the offensive with the intent to kill his aggressors out of panic and self preservation
- hATES killing, regardless if they 'deserved' it, since he thinks so lowly of himself
- is excellent at hiding if in an area he knows well, it's one of the few moments where his birds are Silent
- loves berries
- carries/wears the skulls of birds that were part of his flock
- will endure a lot of Uncomfortable interactions and such so as to not accidentally make the another uncomfortable
- telltale signs that he's becoming overwhelmed are when he becomes nonverbal, quickly agrees with whatever the other says, tries to put distance between himself and others, and/or his hands visibly shake
