overview Ghemis' a Level 12 Lawful Neutral(?) Drow Paladin — Oath of Devotion; Kelemvor (god of the dead) (12) Follows his own code of morals. backstory (haunted background(?)) Orphaned at a young age, Ghemis grew up in an orphanage in the Underdark. Never given the change to be adopted, he was 'set free' when he turned sixteen. He managed to survive by working odd jobs. change of fate At nineteen, after three years of constant struggling to get by, he decided to give in to his long-burning curiosity and brave a peek at the world above. On edge, he wandered most of the night, and eventually turned his attention to finding food. It was then that he stumbled upon a shrine and felt a startlingly strong pull towards it. He was soon greeted by one of the priests that cared for the shrine and, after some coaxing and encouragement, Ghemis was taken under their wing after being told they had been 'waiting for him'. (Pros of his path as a Squire: has a solid life purpose and stable environment, which keeps him busy and cared for, and out of trouble, and has access to education and various skills. Cons of his path as a Squire: not being taken seriously by visitors who're prejudiced(?) against his race, barely being given the bare amount of respect when a priest is around (and being treated negatively when none are around).) notable events event event |
