Biography
Moonrun Lathander
Mysterious CEO
-Pan, He/Him
-The true beginning of the SAR facility is a secret well kept. Not out of some presumed malice, but its secretive nature means that a lot of those beginning years weren't well documented, no paper trails left to date the place and the people who worked in those beginning years. All that is to say that it's unclear if Moonrun was always the head of operations. Most don't remember there ever really being someone else. In fairness, it's only in recent years too that he's started making himself more known as a member of the facility, making public appearances more often now that things seem to have reached a point where SAR rarely has real problems at home that require his attention. They are well funded, they have the best technology and incredible staff, a containment breach is a rare sight, and relations are good with just about everyone they need to be. The future is bright. Or, at least that's what he always says. As far as what we know of the dragon himself, he claims to have been a star student of the Tourmaline Archives before his research led him here. Luck and hard work brought him into the position he holds now, and he has long since out lived most he once knew from those days. A dedicated scholar like any other on the isles. And truly the one who has ensured our success.
-Awh, now Moonrun may be in a rather intimidating position as the supposed face behind things, but he doesn't present himself as such at all! He's always been a very sweet man, happy to hold quiet conversation and always making sure to compliment his staff on a job well done, seemingly oblivious to how nervous or uncomfortable most people get around someone of his role. He enjoys being able to speak with all his workers when he has a safe chance to do so, staying as in touch with how things are going as he can while making sure he isn't in the way. He's been especially careful to do so lately with the question of his inevitable retirement finally being raised - and thus the question of who will succeed him being raised likewise. It has to be someone who's in tune with the facility and the staff, the same way he is very careful to be. Pleasant and slow as he may be, he takes his job incredibly seriously. A successor must be named after the Starfall Celebration. For the good of the facility.
