In spite of her formidable gifts, Circe prefers to keep her skill with magic a secret; she knows better than most what havoc an untamed spell can wreak. Born in the Southern Icefield, Circe hails from the same birth clan as siblings Sincerus and Khostrior, a clan robbed of life in the dead of night by a suffocating wind that paralyzed with a cold that not even an Ice dragon could fight. She alone knows the truth of that night - that the breeze, infused with potent sleeping spells and cast into the polar vortex, had been engineered by her own parents, Saphira and Nita, in an attempt to strike down the clan's Fae leaders, Briyara and Veritas.

Horrified by her parents' actions, she fled into the night with those who believed her story. But even though Circe has never cast a spell with ill intent, she fears that she might lose control of her magic one day and harm the clan that gave her shelter. She keeps a quiet eye on mischievous magicians and casters within the clan, quietly sabotaging their most dangerous spells while keeping her own abilities largely secret. For small spells, though, Circe is second to none - and in the name of keeping her powers in check, she has devised ways to perform complicated spells using layers of simple enchantments. She's not above using her gifts to bring joy to others, though, especially hatchlings, and during hot days will sometimes coat her sleeping chambers in a fine veil of frost and invite the younger dragons in to shelter from the sun. 		~~~~~~
