She was born from stardust, not even an ember in the sea of darkness that had been illuminated by stars ever since the very beginning. She swam amongst the stars, learning to be careful when looking at them but finding that she could not ever look away. she was drawn to them as a magnet is to its pole, they were her whole life and reason for living.

The dreams came not too long after her birth. She had flashing visions of life- creatures that varied in size and shape. She saw what the stars up in the sky preserved and let prosper, and could not help but wonder why she was not there with them. After all, she was no star no matter how hard she may wish it.

Sighing, she turned her attention back down on the creatures.
As her focus returned, she realized that she could sense something that seemed to pulse and flow out of each creature. Some creatures emitted more of this energy than others, but none more than the biggest creatures, the dragons.

She was curious. Her mind made up in an instant, she left the gentle embrace of the sky and floated down to the planet's surface, taking the form of the creatures, the dragons, that interested her so much.
