Gizelle

The Lady in Waiting

Gizelle was born into the clan and is the only one of her siblings to have stayed.

Unlike most Wind dragons, she never had the urge to explore the world outside their lair. Even as a hatchling, Gizelle made it her mission to help out in all the clan chores. Her favorite, however, is to take care of all the hatchlings.

Gizelle greatly takes after her father, Alistair as both of them are undoubtedly kind and sensitive when it comes to others. In fact, like her father, a lot of males have sought her affections. Sadly, Gizelle never notices any of their attempts and always mistakes their romantic gestures as just a way of being nice.

When confronted directly about it, Gizelle simply brushes it off saying that she holds no real interest for that sort of thing and is quite happy with babysitting the hatchlings in the nursery claiming they're all she ever needs in her life.

What the others had no clue about and were never likely to find out was that Gizelle had yet to find her true purpose in life. And while she would sometimes get a strange feeling in her gut, Gizelle would always convince herself that it was nothing and that she was perfectly happy. Even if they did end up pulling out some of her fur.

Seasons have come and gone and Gizelle had always been able to carry on with her duties without complaint or regret, but recently, that weird feeling started to grow stronger. It was still manageable, but sooner or later it would reveal itself and she won't be able to fight it.
