» Unlike the other ghosts in the sanctuary, Melanthe has a tendency to be more violent and meanspirited than anything else. The poltergeist throws things off shelves, pushes dragons over, tosses rocks and furniture, and generally disrupts life.

» Fortunately, he only stalks a certain stretch of halls, which Cirrus and the others have blocked off with signs reading "Caution: Angry Ghost Lives Here."

» No one is quite sure why he is so angry and vindictive, but Lucky is determined to find out - and to help him - despite his behavior.
