Catalin is the backbone and cornerstone of the entire clan. Many dragons, especially the younger ones, wonder why a ridgeback with such immense, arcane power, one that appears more sinister than welcoming to the naked eye, would start a clan in the Windsinger's territory. It takes a second, maybe even a third look at the large male, for from beneath the physical manifestation of arcane energy, two brilliantly green eyes gaze upon the world. No one really has the guts to ask, but it is clear that Catalin was at least born in the Windswept Plateau, perhaps taken away at a young age and forced into some sort of magical journey, or maybe in search of power of his own will. No one knows. To his own, Catalin is kind and giving, unlike the strict leaders many of the clan's members have come to know. It is when danger arises that the dragons are fearful of him, not because he poses a danger to them, but because his enemies simply... cease to exist.
