1178 was the year the 'Leaning Tower of Pisa' begins to lean as the third level is completed and the birthyear of Snorri Sturluson. You don't know Snorri? He wrote the Prose Edda. All those storries about Odin, Thor, Loki and the rest of the nordic deity madhouse? He wrote them down.}


This tiny fellow (well––tiny for a baby guardian, anyway) comes from a proud lineage... but the Windhover Workshop gang welcomed him anyway. In theory he has a proper name, but is usually either called "Red," "Green," or some combination thereof, thanks to his striking coloration.

Red likes maple syrup, bacon, hunting, fishing, possums, and, unusually for a shadow dragon, fixing things. His most recent invention is a strip of fabric, coated on one side with a flexible metallic substance and on the other with an extremely strong adhesive. He calls this "Duck Tape," and nobody is quite sure why. Maybe when he gets old enough to properly explain, the rest of his clan will understand.

Being quite old now it seems that the naming of his inventions is rather odd all over. One of his newer inventions (a portable glowshroom for giving some light wherever one steps, held at the stem with the cap over ones had) is called a parasol. Seemingly para means against while Sol means sun in an old Pre-Arcanist language. Though if that is supposed to be a jab at the lightflight or not no one knows.
