The Third God

Sadzi was the third god to be created by the Spirits.

She and Virtuous were best friends. They liked to joke and play around in a way they could not with Ludicrous and Badru.

Ludicrous and Badru were always too sensitive. They didn’t like to play rough or to get dirty. Only Virtuous and Sadzi could play fight with each other.

And it was only Virtuous and Sadzi who defended themselves from the demon that lurked in the void. They worked together. They had to protect Ludicrous and Badru.

They were unsuccessful, but they tried their best.

When the Spirits died and the gods absorbed their power, Sadzi was overjoyed.

Now she could protect Ludicrous and Badru. Now she never had to see them hurt or upset ever again. She decided to watch over them and let Virtuous lead.

Virtuous would be Queen and make the hard decisions while Sadzi stood back from the limelight and worked to protect their creations from the demons.

Sadzi and Virtuous’s teamwork worked flawlessly and they managed to create their own Queendoms and creations in peace. The demon didn’t stand a chance. It could not touch any of the gods.

Virtuous created a world to rule over and Sadzi created the Sun to warm the world so that it could form life. Sadzi prided herself by giving the planet just enough warmth to grow, but not enough to bake it.

Virtuous and Ludicrous married each other, and Sadzi thought it was such a beautiful gesture that she wanted to marry someone too. So she married Badru. He was always encouraging her and looking up to her. It seemed like love, although it wasn’t. How was Sadzi supposed to know the difference between obsession and love?

Badru worshipped her, and Sadzi grew to like it. She liked it too much. His obsessing over her convinced her she was a perfect being. It convinced her she was on top of the world, that she was meant to be worshipped by all.

It didn’t take much for the demon to sneak into her mind and plant a dangerous idea in it.

The demon told her she should be Queen, not Virtuous. And she agreed.

And ever since Sadzi had wanted Virtuous’s throne. Ever since she had forgotten about how well they had worked together. Ever since she had hated Virtuous. She wanted to be Queen and because she was spoiled rotten she was going to get what she wanted.

Sadzi created a split within the gods. She painted Virtuous as a horrible leader, and she exaggerated Virtuous’s mistakes. She made herself seem like the reasonable leader and many gods began to doubt Virtuous’s leadership and support Sadzi instead.

Sadzi is hotheaded and full of anger and rage. She has been spoiled to her very core and believes she is perfection in every way. She wants to take Virtuous’s place as Queen just so she can be worshiped by everyone and everything.

She wants to burn down the world and rebuild it with creatures designed to worship her. She sees her own children as tools and thinks Badru’s only purpose is to please her.

Sadzi’s Guardian is a lion named Savus. He is a lazy and grumpy creature and is just as spoiled as his master.
