Elymas

____Elymas comes from a family of minor gods that are often forgotten. He expected he too would be forgotten as well.

So he decided to just live his life doing what he loved. He didn’t care about the political struggles of the major gods. He didn’t care which Kingdom he’d be thrown into when he became a full fledged god. He only cared if he was happy.

____So he learned to ride horses, and he learned archery all by himself. He liked the feeling of the wind rushing past him, and the challenge of hitting targets as he moved. Everyday was a fun adventure for Elymas.

Until his family put a stop to it. They wanted him to grow up and become a full fledged god with responsibilities. They said it was embarrassing that all he did was play all day while all they did was work.

Nature

____So they forced him to seek out a Kingdom where he could work all day.

Elymas was annoyed that his family considered Godhood a chore. Even though they were minor gods, didn’t mean they couldn’t have fun. So he was determined to find a kingdom where he could serve the major god and still be happy and himself. He didn’t want to give up his adventures just for more magic abilities and a tie to one of the Elements.

Agriculture

____At the time there were only eleven Elements. He knew not to bother becoming a god of, Time, Space, Sun or Moon. Too much politics and competition were involved with those elite gods.

He toured the Kingdom of Knowledge, and found it too boring. The Kingdom of Sin and Random were too strange for his liking. The Kingdom of War was too violent. The Land of Precipitation and Dinosaurs caught his interest, and he may have ended up becoming a God of one of those Lands if he hadn’t fallen in love with the God of Nature.

Archery

____Elymas wanted to give the Nature Kingdom a chance, so he toured it and spoke to King Zeamays to learn more about the land. And as Zeamays spoke, Elymas realized just how cute this god was. He could tell Zeamays was nervous and timid. He wasn’t the type that was meant to be in power. But elymas could see he was trying his best.

He couldn’t stop thinking about the timid Nature King, and decided he had to be a god of Nature. Zeamays had to be his king. It was Elymas’s destiny.

Snakes

____Their relationship began as a professional one, but Elymas made it no secret he liked Zeamays. He flirted with him, and showed up at his castle without Zeamays’ permission. Ely never made Zeamays uncomfortable. He was careful not to fluster the Nature god too much and to respect his privacy.

Eventually Zeamays admitted he liked Elymas’s flirting. He liked spending time with his new subject, and they became boyfriends, and eventually husbands.

Elymas became the God of Agriculture. It wasn’t the life of adventure he wanted, but he enjoyed it anyway. And it brought him closer to his husband.

He still likes archery and horseback riding, and sometimes Zeamays joins. Him Zeamays isn’t a fan of the archery, he’s always so afraid of hurting someone, but he enjoys the horseback riding.

Elymas likes cooking with Zeamays. He’s the one who usually cooks the meats, as the blood can sometimes bother Zeamays, and he likes going on walks with his daughters and telling them stories of his many adventures.

Recently Elymas has discovered a new hobby. He likes collecting and caring for snakes. He thinks they’re beautiful creatures and they seem to enjoy his company. Elymas can be found singing songs to his snakes in the castle garden.
