B I O G R A P H Y

Mate - Olena

Glenden is the clan's High Mage and most powerful dragon for him and his mate are the proclaimed Alphas. Glenden is also one of the only dragons in the clan that is of a different element, making him incredibly special. With his high-status ranking and the ruler as Alpha, interestingly enough, Glenden is very humble. He very much prefers to be treated as a friend, rather than a leader. Sure, he still demands respect and has a backbone in his position, but he would never want to be addressed with the titles of "Sir" or "My Lord". That of course, unless the clan is involved in a war or a conflict with another clan. Glenden thinks of every member of the clan as a fellow companion, and many call him 'Glen' for short.

As he responsibly and honorably takes on his role of Alpha, he travels with his mate and the Progenitors to address alliance requests between them and other clans. With the guard of Skye, they introduce themselves to the leaders of the other clan after their long journey is complete, then travel back home again after their hospitality has been spent. Or, the opposite is true and the requesting clan's leaders come to them and they introduce themselves, and the Progens and Alphas welcome them.

Interestingly, Glenden has a natural talent for magic, even without the aid of runes on his body. Magic, a usually difficult essence to master, came almost easily and naturally to him. Glenden is able to conjure very complex and difficult Nature spells, wowing any clan member. Although, Glenden still studies ancient tomes and books, always increasing his knowledge and skill in druidic Nature magic.

You can almost always tell when Glenden is about to cast a spell, as his irises lightly glitter with a faint light full of life and magic. The glow can really only be seen if he's casting in the dark or low light, for it's the color of his eyes and is only very faint. No lower mage has this attribute.

With his incredible talent for magic, he is wonderous in the coliseum team. Glenden goes out with the faithful team consisting of Panorin, Prisym, and himself. They do it for fun, but also to bring back materials, food, and loot for the clan. In the team, they treat him as a friend and partner, rather than the high-status Alpha he is. Glenden appreciates and enjoys this very much.

The team he's with are his closest friends in the clan. Although they are all of different status, they all have an unbreakable bond of friendship. It takes great trust to know your partners have your back, and this team has it like no other. Since Panorin has duties to attend to with running the clan and making sure everything is running smooth, sometimes just Glenden and Prisym will go out exploring in the clan's territory.

B I O G R A P H Y

Being a Skydancer, Glenden is very picky about his clothing and the freedom they give. He prefers simple and minimal apparel, not adorning himself in fancy baubles and whatnot. His favorite pieces are his earrings, ring (he barely ever takes them off), robe, and sash. When lounging around the lair, he usually only wears his jade jewelry and flowing robe, bound with his beloved sash. But whenever he goes out, he makes sure to keep on his Sylvan and the rest of his Viridescent pieces. Whenever Glenden goes for a leisurely flight, he only keeps his jewelry and robe, therefore keeping himself free. At night, he sleeps in nothing.

Although, when diplomatic or visits to his birthplace arise, Glenden wears his full druidic attire. His flowing robe, shining flowers, and elegantly woven pieces of Celtic jewelry both show the richness of his rank and magic, but also his bloodline. Glenden comes from a line of druidic and nature magic masters, truly carrying out the commitment given by his birth. He was given a Celtic name that ties him to his humble birth clan, and he very much honors the history of his family and furthers the loves of druids.

Glenden rarely ever lets his priceless, olden Nature Tome out of his sight. It had been given to him by his father's hands, a birthright and a loving gift. But it contains endless knowledge and complex Nature spells that he tirelessly studies, there are so many ancient spells and castings within the Tome's timeworn pages, one may never be able to learn it all. The old ink writing and creamy-colored parchment smell as if the book has been used by others for centuries, great use is heavily visible throughout the text. Most of the spells Glenden knows come from the text, nowhere else can one find such powerful, archaic spells.

Glenden may be very humble with a love for simplicities, but he very much enjoys pampering and teasing his mate when he can. He would gladly take part in any of her fancies as he sees them as pleasures he had never been able to afford before being in the clan. Glenden's not much for alcohol, but wine has grown on him. He very much prefers an elegant dry white from time to time.

Although Glenden is strong, he is soft and loving. He is compassionate toward everyone, exhibiting none of the sass his mate holds. In this, Glenden is a near-perfect father. He would do anything for those he loves, especially his mate and children. If someone threatens his family, he will not hold back.

Glenden is a very high-energy dragon. His roost in the lair is at the very top with an opening to the sky. Many times a day, Glenden goes out for a fly with his mate. Although he and his mate NEVER breed with other dragons. They are so committed that they even have matching rings, showing just how strong of a commitment they hold to each other. They also share a roost, usually a quality only the progenitor dragons share. Both Glenden and his mate are incredibly dedicated parents.
