Irekain

When Iriekain was invited into the family, he was told he came to have a mate for life. But even though he soon discovered she already had another mate, he didn't even care... Until he noticed everyone else in the family had only one mate and how much of a bond most of them had... Including her with her other mate. She didn't mistreat him, but he did end up wishing for more. So he never gave up trying to woe her, but she eventually gave up on him.

Didn't help that everyone seemed to find everyone else pretty, except him and another one... Kendra. So it wasn't a surprised when they easily grew a friendship and bonded better than with the others... And though most of the family seemed to not like using garments, both of them wondered if it could help... Iriekain even though of painting his feathers.

He was sent to a new clan after a while and was welcomed with open wings to the new family. He was a bit worried about being accepted, but soon became a part of the growing clan. He became close with another Skydancer named Toxis, who was from Ire's original clan. He was interested in a pretty Pearlcatcher called Kaya, but she only had eyes for Ankarv. Irekain confided his feelings in Toxis, but Toxis wasn't much help. Toxis had his ways of cheering Irekrain up though. They started spending more time in Toxis's small laboratory together and mixing things with Baldwin. Irekain eventually confessed feelings for Toxis and was delighted when Toxis confessed too. They currently have a very happy and healthy relationship with each other. He has a pet owlcat who he calls Muffin (My sweet wittle Cuddlemuffins) and loves him to death. Toxis does not share in this full adoration, preferring a 'I'll leave you alone, you leave me alone' attitude.

On September 13, 2020, Toxis found Irekain sobbing and clutching Muffin. A heavy chest was on his tail fluff, but he was patting and crying happily over Muffin.
Yeah, Muffin was awakened that day.
