Farbauti is often called 'The Gentle Giant' by his clan members and 'The Striker' by his enemies.

Born in the creeping tendrils of the Wandering Contagion, Farbauti's arrival to the clan brought a terrible plague, which ultimately forced Matriarch Nyx and several others to join the Icewarden. As punishment, he is to use his vast knowledge about plague and illnesses to create cures.

Much to his own surprise, Farbauti enjoys his punishment. He enjoys taking care of the new members of the clan. Of course, in the beginning, many parents were wary to let their offspring come near him. They warmed up to him quickly when they see his warm and affectionate self.

Farbauti can be seen often curling in the main cave along with his familiar, with one or two hatchlings climbing atop his massive shoulders or curling under the warmth of his wings.
