A first generation progenitor in the Wind Flight, Kial is kind, loyal, and devoted to the Windsinger. Had he not been the leader of his clan, he likely would've been exalted himself. He spends his time travelling when he can, and loves to meet new dragons and learn more about the world around him. When home, he spends time telling stories to hatchlings and crafting delicate trinkets and works of art- as well as maintaining order among his fellow clanmates. Kial founded the Feathered Tales clan while he was still young, not even a master of his craft. He founded his clan between the Zephyr Steppes and the Reedcleft Ascent, welcoming any and all unaffiliated dragons into his clan, and creating a loving and peaceful community that thrives upon trade and the talents of its individuals. They soon learned to respect their young leader, and trust him above all others. While Kial may initially appear soft-spoken and somewhat bashful, he is a fearless and loyal leader. His clanmates' trust for him is reinforced by his humility, and his kindness towards others in need. His ability to negotiate peace amid tension is unmatched. He is respected and recognized by many clans throughout Sorienth, due to the Feathered Tales clan's thriving trade routes. Kial has a naturally nurturing personality but, despite fathering several hatchlings, all but one have been exalted in the name of the Windsinger. While this is the highest honor for both dragon and parent, it also left quite an impact on him. The mothers of his children also having been exalted, Marx is the only remaining member of Kial's family. For this reason, he tends to hide a deep-seated sense of loneliness.

 Kial's familiar is a runt-sized squall rasa, affectionately named Frosty. She sticks close to him at all times, often doting over hatchlings and taking naps in his fluffy mane. |
