Goddess of Witchcraft

Circe’s story is long and old. She was one of the first witches, and was the queen of witches. Long ago, around what could be parallel to Sornieth times, Circe was tricked, dethroned and had her magic partially bound. She was unable to use her dragon form and could only travel on her own two feet. Considerably weakened, Circe traveled from land to land, gathering support from witches across the world.

With their magic supporting her she confronted her usurper and regained her full power and her throne.

When she regained her power, she was stronger than ever, and though she was tested again and again, she never lost her throne a second time.

Her magic grew in strength until she was unparalleled, and finally Circe receded from the world as it changed from the ways she knew.

In modern day, Circe is considered a myth or a goddess. Witches pray to her, they make offerings to her, they pledge their lives to her.

Little do they know that Circe is very much alive and still on their Earth. It’s quite possible that she’s transcended to Goddess status.

Modern day witches may see visions of/from her, or receive guidance/instructions from her through rituals and meditation, but none have been personally visited by her in a long, long time.
