Nathaniel

Nathaniel is one of the head archivists of the clan. He can be a bit of a jerk, so most of the clan avoids speaking with him. Eve and Avaline are the only others he has regular contact with. It's theorized that it's all talk and a majority of it is just armor. He's good at what he does, which consists of organization and intensive magic research. His workspace is covered in theories and formulas along with piles of books he's already perused. He never used to leave that space.

Lately, he comes and goes for one reason: Anisha.

She has a potent magical affliction that he's taken to mulling over. It gives him something to do, Avaline also insists that it's good for him to 'go out and meet the others, because they're quite nice' but that sounds fake to him.

Anisha is delighted to finally get to see him. Even though they'd only just met, she acted as if she'd known him for years, which was initially quite off-putting. He tried to ignore the fact that her living space is covered in paintings, some of which he's featured in. Others had some of the rest of the clan. She lives independently, though close to Ki in the clan's home of the Rimebone Stockades.

While a majority of his magic was based around void magic, he's picked up dream magic to help with whatever's going on with Annie. Jewelry seems to be the easiest and most effective way to essentially nullify her affliction, but now his research has taken him into finding more permanent solutions to help. He's spent a majority of the past year looking for answers, and in that time, Annie's done her best to worm her way into his personal life, much to his chagrin.

Now, the two are often seen in Nathaniel's study, though based on what Avaline has said, the two of them are much closer than Nathan would care to admit.
