» About Evana is a pearlcatcher who claims to be of royal blood. She is a diplomat and emissary to other clans, always surrounded by several guards who are trained to protect her at all costs. She detests blood and fighting, finding it beneath her and rather disgusting, though she will occasionally use magical abilities when her hand is forced. She carries herself with grace and dignity (as well as some measure of superiority), though she is always careful with her words and actions, and very adept at diplomatic discussion. She left her home when she was very young, though the world was a harsher thing than she'd expected. Her rich clothes quickly grew torn and ragged, and her jewelry made her a target for thieves, leaving her vulnerable, with only Brux to protect her. One night they were nearing a clan where she was hoping to spend the night when they were ambushed on the road, Brux being quickly pinned by a weighted net that fell onto him from the trees above. Evana was cornered by a wildclaw that greedily eyed the amulet that hung around her neck. However, before he could make a move a blur of movement flashed behind him, and his gaze registered only momentary shock before he slumped to the ground, lifeless. Behind him stood an imperial that towered over Evana, though her eyes were far kinder than his. She sheathed her weapon, quickly lifting the net from Brux, whose snarling grew silent once he had been freed. "You seemed like you needed a hand," she smiled, and Evana cautiously nodded. Little did she know it was the beginning of a bond that would become unbreakable - the two of them quickly learned that they were much the same, both without a home and alone in the world aside from their familiars. For reasons unknown to Evana, Joanna swore to keep her safe from that day onwards, and she's kept her word since then. She's the shadow at Evana's back no matter where she travels, and the two of them are like two sides of the same coin. Evana is eternally grateful for the day they met, and often wonders where she'd be without her friend, though she doesn't doubt her fate would have been much darker if not for her. |

» Inventory On every trip, Evana brings a small collection of items. Most of the items were gifts from Joanna from their travels together - a pendant she found abandoned in some ruins, some pressed flowers from a field they had a picnic in, gold and sacridite from a cave they had to shelter in during a storm, and a staff she made for her, for the few instances she uses magic. She also keeps a small bottle of unicorn dust - she sprinkles a bit on herself when meeting new clans, and finds it gives her a boost to her confidence and charisma. Aside from these things, she always wears her citrine amulet, given to her when she was young by her parents. When she feels homesick and wonders how they're doing, she holds it close to her chest and remembers them. |

He's large enough to carry her on long journeys, and is fiercely loyal to her. They've been paired ever since she was very young, and she tells anyone who asks that he was given to her by her parents before she left her first home. They have never been apart since they first met. He's outfitted with heavy armour, fitted to his body alongside a sturdy saddle large enough for Evana to sit on. He's an unusually massive specimen of sunbeam ursa, and is often what protects Evana above all else from potential attacks when she travels.
