Faraus is a talented musician as well as a mute and uses his music to communicate. He plays many instruments but favors the lute and drums for their clear and soulful vibrations - he finds them to be the easiest when he wants to express himself. When he really gets into a song he begins to dance, his movements in tune with every note that flows from his instrument. Companions The small bird always perched on his shoulder is named Tiko, and he provides a trilling tune to accompany the songs Faraus plays. They met back when he travelled to the Viridian labyrinth and both creatures were entranced with the other's song. He also met his tigerblood foo Miriam there, and she carries his instruments and equipment when they travel on the roads. History Born with no vocal cords, Faraus learned from a young age how to communicate through his music. He plays the drums and dances with all his soul, and other dragons find great joy from listening to the way he strums his lute, pouring his heart and feelings into every note. When he was just a young drake he left his birth clan, unable to follow their warrior ways and determined to find a harmony of his own. He's overall a very joyful and carefree soul, and though he's travelled all over Sornieth to perform he has decided to (at least for the moment) settle down in the Mystic Plateau. He participates in the full moon ceremonies, his lute mingling with Nagamo's voice as the deaf dancer Augury twirls below and Rouge moves in time with the music. Sometimes he leaps down to join them, lost in a world all his own as the three dancers put on a show unlike any other. He's especially fond of Augury, though the fact that he can't charm her with music or words makes showing his affection difficult. Instead they dance together, and he hopes one day to entrance her enough to be able to show her how he really feels. |

His petals and candles create a sense of buoyancy around him, and his bright green skin doesn't clash with his mostly red and yellow appearance, instead it highlights it. His silks and cloaks, along with his golden opal finish, make him seem radiant. The hat, bird, and lute are fine additions to highlight his role as a musician. All of his apparel and the python markings on his tail make him nice to look at, and he seems very jubilant and fun to be arround. Any clan would be proud to have him in their ranks, and he stands out because of the complexity of his garb."
