Nivur is the clan's only and best magician. He's not really good at anything offensive, nor are his skills useful for warding spells or creating barriers, but he can create tuly impressive illusions and tricks. He and his Mistyhollow agent, Angelo, are experts at anything and everything that sows confusion or minor chaos. Usually, however, their pranks are lighthearted and fun. The only time he ever becomes at all scary is when someone threatens a dragon he cares about. Although his mentor Ametrine is far too strong to ever need defense, Nivur has promised to be by his side in any battle. His crush, Mollistris, is another dragon he'd do anything for, though he knows she'd never leave Gold. He's managed to make friends with the reserved but kind-hearted Charon. He's both jealous and protective of the quiet Wisteria, knowing that Ametrine spends more time with her but still loving her like a younger sister. Some of the other friends he's made include Nymstryx, the medium and poet who unnerves many of the clan and who treats him like she's his aunt, and finally Aysun, though her mate Solaris scares him a bit. Although he's mostly a minor inconvenience at best, he still tries his best. Everything he does he does with the best of intentions - he just wants to make others smile. While his pranks themselves are laughable, he does actually hold a great deal of power when it comes to the practice of suggestion. |

Since joining the clan he has matured a bit, changing from an immature and mildly annoying young drake into a more devious and sly adult. He can be charming, though he only ever seems to want to be with dragons who are already taken. Most of the adults of the clan are too mature for him anyways, though he never really feels lonely. Ametrine may act aloof, and treat him like his desire to learn shadow magic is amusing, but he does try his best to teach him what he can. For a dragon not born in shadow, the fact that he can perform any magic at all is a talent, and so Ametrine (quietly, of course) is quite proud of his progress and has high hopes for the possible future. The reason he wants to erase his plague heritage so much, and the reason he plays so many tricks, is because of how his old clan used to discourage any joy. The way they punished hatchlings for it was so bad that he was sent to a foster home for a time until he was relocated to the mystic plateau to live with the rest of his new clan. He tries to erase any trace of his plague heritage, even going so far as to wear coloured contacts and a shadow emblem on his brow. He knows he'll never be able to change who he is, but he's happy to be loved despite that, and delighted that he finally has a place to belong.
