Hazel

Hazel is the local Hedge witch of the Quarry who manipulates the natural order around herself. Though previously a very stable and kind individual, her magical deals with demons and repeated exposure to generally lost and unknown knowledge, as well as her brew, Hazel's morality has twisted in on itself. She still desires to help people, but the lengths she goes to often cross the line. The line gets farther away every time it is crossed after all.

Hazel is the individual who sold her ability to dream to make Cato's mask for him. As a result of Hazel's dealing, in order to assist Cato with his accursed telepathy, Hazel payed with her ambitions and her desires for the future. A powerful object for a powerful price.

Hazel lives outside of the clan in an area known locally as the Witchmist Grove. This copse of trees has been corrupted by Hazel's magic and is now infested with various spirits and demons.
The entire area is generally considered very creepy. At the center of the grove is Hazel's cabin.\

Hazil continues to be more of a folktale than an actual person, as most dragons actively avoid her even when she is physically present in the Quarry. Those she does make contact with are those seeking her wisdom or power to grant wishes at the expense of a part of the wish-maker. These deals can be rather convoluted, more out of the demons' wills rather than her own.
