Mobius

Mobius is part of Captain Stern's crew. Mobius is a sailor alongside Skinner, Longfellow, and Rorrim. Mobius is loud and avaricious, but he has a sense of loyalty split well between himself and the captain. As long as he gets paid well and is content, there isn't any complaining from him. Mobius is gluttonous and prideful, but Mobius is hardworking when it really suits him.

Mobius is a hullbreaker and coastal scout for the Slattern, going where it can't. Mobius is actually about the fifth the size of the Slattern, so Mobius can't actually be on the ship at all. Instead, Mobius swims beside the ship as it sails. Mobius is more than capable of keeping up with the Slattern. So, in a sense, Mobius is like another ship. A ship that is an underwater battering ram.

Mobius is a brutal fighter, preferring to attack from the sea. Mobius is nearly invisible while he is in the water, allowing him to strike from below to crack the hulls of ships, snap dragons from the air, or combat dragons in the water. Mobius is surprisingly agile in water, at least as fast as the Slattern, and is not easily escaped once in his way. Mobius is, however, clumsy and slow on land or in the air. Mobius' enormous mass makes him slow out of the water. Walking on land for a long period wears Mobius out considerably and leaves him sore.

Mobius once lived in the inland Sea of a Thousand Currents, but he left that behind long ago.
For years, Mobius preferred the emptiness of the outer seas. The inner sea was far too crowded and loud for Mobius. Mobius and Stern's first meeting was while the Slattern was still beached off of the coast of the Scarred Wasteland. Stern paid Mobius to drag the Slattern off of the beach and to the nearest port. It was grueling work, but Mobius got the job done. Afterwards, Stern offered the leviathan a job. Mobius was happy to oblige. For the right price, of course.

Mobius probably wouldn't admit it, but he has the sweets for Skinner. Skinner would probably think it is cute, if she doesn't already know. Her heart is closed though, all blocked up. It will take a lot from Mobius to get through it all. He seems willing to try though.
