Meira
A classically trained battle mage, technology always fascinated Meira. When Rhearne became a permanent resident within Theta's lair, Meira eagerly sought her out for new knowledge. The two became fast friends, bonding over a shared interest in bringing magic into the newest lightning innovations. Despite her interest, magitech did not come easy to Meira, leaving her feeling lacking. Having only moved to the Shifting Expanse to follow her mate, Ciro, she's always felt a bit isolated from the rest of the clan, and not quite social enough to work her way in. Her husband's scorn for what he sees as a flippant waste of magic hasn't helped her either. Rhearne soon became a safe haven for her, but their different roles left them with precious little time to spend together.

Meira and Ciro were from the same region of the Sunbeam Ruins. Having grown up together, they played together amid crumbling structures of civilizations of old. They trained in the ways of magic under the same tutor, and both were greatly loved amongst their respective clans. A union between the two of them was inevitable, yet a happy one. But a more luxurious position far away within the Shifting Expanse would draw them away from their memory filled home, lured by promises of power and respect. Despite their new cushy positions as defenders of Theta's clan, Meira was unbearably homesick. While Rhearne's work fascinated her, it wasn't enough to heal the rifts between her and Ciro, if anything it widened them. With her children having gone off to clans of their own or leaving to serve deities, she was left with few to care for. As Theta's clan grew as well, she was no longer constantly needed on the front lines, only taking the occasional watches. With all of this time, she found there was little to do. So she sits alone, staring off into the distance, and waits for those she loves and once loved to come back to her.
