Pinion dislikes Cadence in general, but often has to put aside his dislike for the good of the Clan. Cadence seems well aware of this, and has never been anything but over-the-top kind and jovial toward Pinion, which just makes it worse. Of course it doesn't help when Cadence is speaking with someone and says "Well, you've got your 'pinion and I've got mine." It makes Pinion want to die.
