B I O G R A P H Y
Some say that parentless eggs are born of the gods themselves, scattered across the lands in the hopes that one of these godtouched dragons might be cared for by a welcoming clan, eventually awakening to their celestial destiny. Bloodstone has always scoffed at such fantasies, more out of necessity than anything else; he can't stand the idea that the Lightweaver might have purposefully made him the way that he is. Despite his noble intentions and drive for honesty, his clanmates remained wary of his dark scales and Nocturne heritage. Though he yearned for companionship, the unwarranted suspicion he faced changed his once cheerful nature to something more somber. There was no home for him in the Light clan, he decided. He tried to live in Shadow, but on the few occasions that he met other Nocturnes, he couldn't relate to their interest in games and singsong mimicry. He took some solace in traveling and documenting the many lands of Sornieth, but part of him still longed to belong. Eventually, he wandered into a Water clan that valued his quiet attention to detail. Water may not have been the most welcoming, but at least they treated all outsiders the same. As long as he could prove his worth, they would not care about his colors or personality. It was in a Water clan that he met his soulmate, Pyrite - another who knew the struggles of not conforming to expectations. Two misfits who had run away, only to meet in the unlikeliest of places. A match that none could have seen, except for the oracles of Water.
