the clanmother

Behind every good leader is a good mate. Behind a so-so leader is an excellent mate. Though Malute officially has the final say on things, it's Faron everyone goes to for advice, or to give suggestions, or to ask permissions. She's the real diplomat of the two. Thanks to her the clan is diversifying and expanding, and she treats each new dragon as if they were her own flesh and blood family. Warm and soft-spoken, yet surprisingly tough in a pinch, she is the root to Malute's tree, the nurturing foundation of the lair.


Faron's fur has changed color several times in the course of her magical dabbling. She tells newcomers and hatchlings not to be frightened if she emerges from the lair one morning an entirely different hue.
