"I've found a lead! To the pattern to take us to Illumination!"
"I've found a lead! To the pattern to take us to Illumination!"
|
He saw it once, as a hatchling. Just a taste of the Answer, but enough to crave it forever. Now every arrangement of stones or weather pattern he comes across show the path to follow. The unravelling of the code has lead him to his greatest neurosis, beetles. The deities chocked all the information he would need in them. In their wings and the way they fold, in their colors and legs, in the routes they follow and places they hide. Insects would take him to Illumination, they would be his map and beacon! Few dragons can sustain a level of enthusiasm that matches Paradise’s obsession, and he’s spent the majority of his life alone. He’s still connected to others, he insists, everybody has a place in the pattern. Dragonhome is a cruel environment without allies and his stay in the clan is utilitarian above all else. He has little interest in socialization that doesn’t further his quest. Conversations with Paradise are awful and one sided. While at first meeting one may be interested in what he has to say, it gets old after a day or so. Most dragons learn quickly not to talk to him. At least he pulls his weight in setting up and tearing down camp. You can’t say that for everyone around here… |
