Vidar has an interesting talent: he's able to converse with the birds of Sornieth. He discovered this talent when he was younger and sitting beneath a tree one summer morning. He heard conversation coming from the branches above him, and at first thought it might have been some Fae hatchlings that had gotten stuck. But when he looked up, he a pair of birds having an intense conversation. When he told he ran back home and told his friends, no one believed him.

Ever since then, Vidar has kept his 'gift' secret. He's afraid of being called names, or looked at strangely. But he hasn't stopped talking to his feathery friends. They bring him news from other clans, since Vidar prefers not to wander too far from his own. They bring him gifts as well, little trinkets that Vidar puts in a special place in his den. He hopes to one day share his magic with others, but for now he keeps it close.
