Once just another lowly citizen of society, he caught in the wrong place at the wrong time when the scouts came across him and took him back to Rottoway. He would later be the chosen subject for Dr. Vaux's newest project. To create a dragon who could wield multiple elements.

The experiments were long and agonizing; The influx of various strong and conflicting magic constantly passed through him did a toll to his mortal body. His scales would fall, leaving him with mottled and scarred yet hardened flesh. Parts of him would become completely deformed or lost. Even his mind would be deteriorated, making him subjected to rage and little critical thinking.

By the end of it all he would be little more than a monster than a recognizable dragon. But the experiments proved to be successful, to some degree. It was certainly a step in the right direction for the Doctor.

Now Rottoway would have a warrior capable of wielding the magic of fire, plague, and most potently arcane. But with suck wild magic, he was not an easy beast to control. And it wasn't until Brimstone stepped in and took charge of the now titled Nemesis that they could now give him commands... or rather Brimstone be the one commanding him.

The bond between the two (however mostly one-sided) would eventually grow, and now he is almost always seen by the SIC's side.
