Cyanus never meant to start a clan. He swears, he really didn't. All he wanted was to study the chemical makeup of samples found in the shifting expanse and do his job. He managed alone for a while, but not for long. A wrench was thrown in his careful, meticulously thought-out plans by a rambunctious fae named Jade. Jade was a biologist, assigned to study the non-dragon species living in the area. She was clever, optimistic, stubborn, and refused to leave. The two coexisted as beat they could, clamoring over the same workspace and squabbling over petty things. Over the weeks, however, the two learned to live with each other. And so they went from enemies to friends, and from friends to mates.

Aso their friendship grew, so did the little camp they set up in the desert. Pretty soon, it began to attract other dragons. More scientists, misfits, and dragons looking for a home arrived. Cyanus acts annoyed, but lets them stay as long as they contribute something to the research or the clan. He pretends to fuss over his clanmates, like a miniature version of the Stormcatcher himself, but he's really proud of the makeshift little clan he totally, definitely, did not intend to make.
