♢ PERSONALITY
Briza is a scientist both by trade and nature. Extremely curious to the point of nosiness, he is on a constant search for new information, and is often seen sprawled in one of the libraries, reading. A fairly young dragon, he can be a little naive when it comes to social interactions; this, coupled with his pride in his work and study, leads him to often be antisocial and snappish to anyone he feels isn't taking him seriously.
♢ BIO
Briza's appearance in the labyrinth was motivated by his desire to study the long-forgotten texts on the animation of life that he suspected lay hidden in the labyrinth. Discovering Praestes, a living (sort of), breathing (not really) automaton, was entirely accidental, though extremely exciting, and what was originally planned as a study trip quickly became a more permanent living arrangement.
♢ RELATIONSHIPS
Something of a workaholic, Briza tends to hide himself away from interaction in favour of his study and research. The one exception to this rule is Praestes; he often trails after the automaton on its patrols, or hovers around it enthusiastically, taking avid and copious notes on everything - its movement, its appearance, and its infrequent words. Most of the other scholars regard Briza's keen interest with good humour, though sometimes he can get underfoot.
♢ UNIQUE TRAITS
After a while in contact with the magic of the labyrinth, the purple patterns on Briza's hide, reminiscent of technological circuits, have taken on a softly pulsating glow, and they shift and warp across his hide like circuits being broken and reformed. When Briza becomes worked up over a matter, they tend to pulse brighter, to a more intense beat.
