Virtuet

Old eyes that wander across this once abandoned haven, left alone like helpless prey to an encroaching predator. The small candle hiding deep inside the abyss it became, it's light soft and dimming remained awake.

"Little can I say of the figure that snakes across and within the walls of this place, I have seldom seen it's true form but I have become familiar to it's trail: the small bug like essence that carefully watches us, never interfering but always curious witness of our lives in this cave we came to call home despite not knowing it was already "claimed" in a way. I have come to tolerate this lingering spirit, but I must say I'm intrigued of the great amount of strings and stuff it has gathered without our knowledge...What could they possibly want to achieve with all they have seen us do? Don't take me the wrong way though... Despite all these truths I'm relaying to you, I don't feel an ounce of fear for it, they seem... would the word be, Benevolent? I know I'm maybe not making sense with my words, I've never been keen with my words but I had to express this somehow...

Ahh, am I afraid of telling you this, knowing what they know and all? hmm, not at all, in fact... maybe it was time for this piece to fall into the bigger puzzle of our lives. I just hope, whoever this pressence is, for them to never let themselves fade, I know it might sound selfish but I feel they think the same"
