Tourmaline

Tourmaline is a very quiet, shy female. She spends most of her day either sleeping, tucked away in some corner of the lair, cleaning up after hatchlings, or just watching the members of the clan go about their daily routines. She isn't very well liked within the clan however, as most consider her elusiveness and silence either disrespectful, unnatural, or off-putting in some way. In reality, she has mild anxiety and depression, which makes it hard for her to interact with the others. The dragon she most wants to spend time with is of course the one that rarely wants to be bothered by trivial chit-chat; Duman. She finds him utterly fascinating and wishes more than anything to be able to speak with him and befriend him, and perhaps break past the walls he puts up around himself and find out what makes him the way he is. She notices little things about all the dragons in the clan, so she has taken note of the way he avoids hatchlings but watches them wistfully at times, and how he secludes himself from the majority of the lair, and even the almost undetectable limp he walks with on rainy days. She sees these things and she wonders about him and his past, and unlike the rest of the clan, she wants to know what happened to him more than anything. But she just can't work up the courage to go up and talk to him, let alone maintain a healthy friendship long enough to feel comfortable asking him directly.
