officially the tiniest dragon I own ♥

Ilo is only 15cm long with a wingspan of mere 11cm. he lives in a cave deep underground where his eyes are adapt to see even the smallest bit of light. he feeds off of small insects which there are plenty of making life down there not too hard, except for his small and fragile form. since he is so very tiny he needs a strong and solid defence; he conjures up a shield all over his body covering himself from head to tailtip in pure emerald. unless you can break through the solid gem, he'll be safe. curling up to become as small as possible, it would be very hard to spot him in a small crack in the wall or among other emeralds. he can not stay like that forever as the emerald is of course not bendable and that makes it very hard to breathe, eventually he'll have to break it off. doing so isn't hard for him, the layer of gem isn't too thick so a sharp kick or sudden strong movement will easily break it open from the inside. not all pieces may fall off however, but as long as they do not hinder his movement he doesn't seem to mind.
