  H I S T O R Y
Cowardliness is what Levi have always been known for, and nothing can change the fact that it's true. At the first sight of danger and conflict he shimmies away to as safe a distance he can. He doesn't deny it and his reasoning remain strong: There's no point in wasting the life of a good healer. He's got a fair point and no one can really argue with that, but there was one time when he cast aside his cowardly side for the fae he loves, and it forever changed his life. One casualty and many injured kept Levi busy for days, a swamp lynx had set its lair just outside the borders of the tribe and were attacking fae tribe members for getting too close. Search parties were sent out to find the small hostile creature, but as soon as larger dragons got close the lynx would hide. All fae trackers refused to go out in fear of their lives, they would rather wait for Diana to rerun and deal with the problem. When Diana finally returned home to the tribe she was covered in small injuries of her own, but spent no time to care for herself after hearing what's been going on. She was determined to set out right away and avenge her wounded tribe-brothers and sisters. Even as the Earl tried to convince her to heal up first, Diana set out anyway. Levi knew she wouldn't last long if her wounds weren't treated, he didn't bother to ask for permission to go after her as he knew it would be denied. He made sure no one saw him as he slipped away after Diana.

As Levi had always feared leaving the safety of the tribe he hesitated for a long while, but convinced himself that without Diana the tribe would not survive. The thought of losing her weighed heavy on his mind as he had always looked up to her with awe, even though he was convinced she had no idea who he was. He was able to follow Diana with ease as soon as he started to hear furious roars from the depths of the forest, she must have found the lynx and is engaged in combat. Levi picked up the pace prayed he'd get there in time. Realizing he was getting closer and closer to the combat his stomach turned in fear, but he still pushed on until he could see it; a huge swamp lynx had gotten the advantage on Diana thanks to her wounds, now covered in dirt and old blood, which slowed her down from the pain of infection. Levi could clearly see she was cornered and weak, without thinking he leaped out to shield her from the incoming claws of the beast. The sudden appearance of another fae surprised the lynx for just a second, but it was all Diana needed to turn the fight around in her favor as she ended the lynx swiftly. Diana did not know much about the art of healing but she did what she could for her rescuer's deep shoulder-wound and carried the unconscious fae back to the tribe, handing him over to a real healer. When Levi finally came to he was greeted with many friendly faces, something he was not used to. Turns out Diana had told everyone about his bravery and demanded he'd be rewarded, and so he was appointed apprentice to the great shaman Daubar to learn all his heart could desire about herbs and healing. This changed his life for the better and he wished nothing more than to thank Diana for all that she had done. He treated all her upcoming wounds with incredible skill and became her personal healer, and in time also her lover.
