ABOUT. Zephyrus is as carefree as a summer’s breeze. One would think him to be a little more solemn and, er, Waterborn-like, considering his role as a Water representative in the clan, but Zephyrus will have none of it. His nature as a spiral dragon can’t help but peek through the gaps and he loves reminding others that their flight will never define them. He has taken on no mate, keeping his days with his friends and adopted family. Among those he counts as close (apart from the whole clan, of course), Boreas and Phantasos seem to be at the forefront. The three all seem to have powers that are not quite natural for their species or flight—or that of any species or flight, come to think about it—and Zephyrus’s is the vision of the future. He sees infinite possibilities in an infinite number of parallel worlds whenever it rains. Every raindrop reflects a possibility which may explain why he stays indoors, for information like that can be enough to drive one mad. Every Wavecrest, he announces the clan’s fortune. It is always a good one, of course: the harvest will be bountiful yet again and fish will fall as easily into the nets as the insects and animals do in the traps. The Shade will not threaten the clan and while there may be difficulties that must be faced the foreseeable future, the clan will emerge unscathed. The less-than-desirable outcomes he sees are kept for a later, more private and quiet session with Nyx and Heracles. In the days to come, the clan leaders will make sure that those fortunes never come to light. You may look at the surface of a lake and see nothing but its glittering reflectiveness, all clear and inviting, but you will never see the darkness that lies in its depths. IMPRESSIONS. PAST.
