ABOUT. She remembers a hearth, she thinks, and her family sitting around it. A mother-- surely she must have had one, for where else would this memory of sitting in a warm lap while slender claws braided her fur come from-- and a father. Siblings, perhaps. A ripple of laughter runs through the room, and she recalls laughing along, not quite understanding the joke but smiling just by looking at the faces of a family she can no longer remember. She's starting to forget. Shae is a shapeshifter, capable of shifting form from Beastclan member to an inanimate object and back. No one knows about her abilities, though, and it’s why she seems to know a lot of things that happen in the clan. She would make a good spy if it weren't for the fact that she isn't exactly, er, subtle about her methods. But with that sort of power comes a question that troubles her: what was her first form? She’d been able to shift form as smoothly as flowing water since she was a hatchling--if she'd even been a hatchling to begin with. Who was she really? A serthis? A maren? A dragon? The question still plagues her, haunting her every waking moment, and she will not rest till she has the answers she so desperately seeks. Till then, she will rest easy in the embrace of her mate, Matrim, and seek relief in the reassurances of her friends, that whoever she is, whatever she is, she is loved. IMPRESSIONS. PAST.
