- still really into riding elk

- was a commander during the dawn wars between the lightweaver and shadowbinder, remember


- they just rode elk instead, it being one of the more readily available large rideable animals that survived the second age collapse
- hippogriffs/nightmares/etc weren't invented for a few more years, and even then took awhile to hit a widespread population

- the elk is a metaphor for him constantly getting stuck in the past

- everyone rides hippogriffs now, and the lightweaver recently reinvented horses™



- essentially on house arrest, not allowed to leave the bellamare manor
- he's just lurking around back there
- trying to make eye contact with everyone who shows up for lailuma and cosette's salons and balls

- tries to hire spies every once and awhile
- it's well documented that everyone else will pay you more if you feed him bad info
- still doesn't stop trying

- terminus has mandatory playtime (cards) with him daily for enrichment
- (and also kavimeile is there too since terminus drags him around also to keep out of trouble)
- they are actual friends somehow. like since the old camp
