Born into a wealthy family, Reinhart's childhood consisted of 24/7 supervision, social gatherings, and 'pep talks' from his suffocating mother. As his parents only son, Reinhart was treated more as an investment than a child. He was always kept clean and well-dressed so he could be flaunted as a token piece for arranged marriage to strengthen ties between other wealthy families.

After years of having his life laid out for him and being mistreated by a few of his families servants, Reinhart ran away from the house that had never been a home to him under the light of the moon, determined to find someplace better.

Using the small amount of money he stashed away before leaving, Reinhart traveled a fair distance on his own, keeping to back roads and avoiding others as much as possible in fear of being discovered. It wasn't until he found himself lost among the trees of the Gladekeeper's domain that he made the acquaintance of Ethan and through him came to reside in Lakerest.

It only took a few months for Hart to realize that Lakerest and its residents made him feel more important and individual than his parents ever had. Being able to call Lakerest home, Hart grew up into a beautiful young man.

Hart spends his free time engaged in his hobbies such as reading and writing. Well educated, Hart prefers quiet activities alongside a cup of tea, but with Ethan as a best friend it's not always easy to do so.

• After being given the nickname 'Hart' by Ethan, Hart rarely goes by his full name anymore.
• Hart enjoys most blends of tea, but ginger tea reminds him of his mother so he steers clear of it.
  
• He hasn't cut his hair since he ran away, so it's practically as long as he is tall. If he trusts someone enough he'll let them brush and braid it.
• Hart has put a lot of his past behind him, but by bottling it up and refusing to talk about it he's prone to episodes of depression.
