Stolen as an unusually small egg from her nest and carefully hoarded by a mischievous red-footed akirbeak before she could even hatch, this young dragon found herself raised in the palace and grew to know its extensive tunnels. The confused owner of the bird, Idrykith, had not been raised to wealth and insisted his adoptive children learn how to fight almost as soon as they began to explore their new home.

As eldest, Redara became next in line for the throne and while she knew she would not rule she made sure to study everything he did. She has taken more after Idrykith in her desire to always be prepared.
