"I am the Man that catches the sun"

Immortan Badar was born on the day the Sun was swallowed. Many feared it would never return. But as soon as he entered this world, he grasped the sun and brought it back to the people. Badar is the man that catches the sun, it was by his hand that they would rise from this Wastes and be given glory, honor, and eternal happiness.

"Ride with me, shiny and chrome."

Atleast, this is what he wants his followers to think. In actuality, Badar was born a cast away. Him and his siblings were seen as an omen by their clan. There was in fact an eclipse on the day he was hatched, but he was not blessed. Cursed due to his color and birth, Badar and his siblings were cast out of the nest as little ones. With no protection, no clan, and no resources, they turned on each other quickly. It was rumored Badar had cannibalized the two smaller ones, but those were only rumors. From there he ran with packs of bandits, thieves, and criminals. He grew up in a cruel society where weakness was preyed upon. As soon as he was big enough, Badar left and started his own band of bandits and criminals. As his power grew, so did his following. Soon Badar would find himself at the head of the largest faction out in the Wastes. Countless victories were won, some with brain, most with brawn. Eventually they took over a strategic spot fiercly protected by another faction, The Citadel.

Killing all its old inhabitant, Badar and his group took over the Citadel. With control to the largest aquifer in the Wastes, he was a God. Countless smaller factions flocked to the Citadel, trying to barter and trade. With the need to protect what was his, Badar recruited those too young to understand, and those desperate enough to not question. From there he has risen an army of War Boys, completely dedicated to him and at his disposal.

Over the years he has taken many lovers, even turning some into 'Wives'. He is searching for the perfect heir, a legacy to carry on his name and inherit all his power. So far he has been given insufficient heirs, males to small or females with rebellious attitudes. Despite this he cares deeply for his wives and especially his children's well-being (as long as they respect him). But his wives is his greatest weakness and knows it can be exploited by those wishing to hurt him. As so he keeps the Wives tucked away in the towers, for their own safety and any unborn children's. His unworthy children though are scattered through the Wastes, carrying on their Father's name, even if they know they are not destined to be his heir.
