Corvid

While he cuts an imposing figure in his dark hood and bandages, Corvid is much kinder than his appearance would suggest. He adores birds and flying creatures, especially ravens, and he can seldom be found without his Death Seeker familiar in close attendance. Corvid also enjoys playing with the clan's hatchlings, and is particularly compassionate towards lost and orphaned dragons. He and his mate, Shanoa, nursed Riftstalker back to health after he was found on the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and provided unwavering support to the young Spiral in spite of his aggressive and paranoid nature.

In fact, some of Corvid's clanmates joke that his heart is so kind that its glow shows through his scales. While his glowing scales are something of an oddity, in truth none of the clan's healers have been able to determine the cause of their golden shine. Because of his role as guardian of the Cavern, though, Corvid needs to be stealthy enough to hide in the shadows; for this reason he keeps his glowing scales under wraps - literally.
