Frozen in viscous darkness, Omou lied still. It wasn't hurt, but something was preventing her from moving, from feeling, from speaking. Only one thing was proving that she's still alive somehow - she could think and analyse. Locked inside her own consciousness, Omou tried to remember something, anything - but it was impossible. Facts were erased from her memory. All that she somehow managed to recall was hunger - she was very hungry a long time ago. She was starved.
She did now know that her body formed a shell to protect her soul from vanishing, while her starved, depleted body was already dead. As a Guardian, she subconsciously chose herself as her Charge. And the process was almost finished.
Omou suddenly felt something. It was a headache - nothing serious, but it was gradually building up, until her head was splitting. Then her whole lump body started to resonate as well - first with tiny shudders, stronger and louder, shaking it to the point when her old dead skin, bones and muscles were torn apart, letting her unharmed soul out of it. Omou was screaming, but no one was there to answer. Once the torture was over, she found herself laying in a fresh, cold pile of snow on actual Sorneith ground, covered in warm blood. However, she wasn't wounded - she was just newly born into this world. The power of Guardian's Charge was magic which was able to outplay even Death itself.
After returning, Omou became somewhat ethereal and light, sailing through dimensions, and dissapearing once again. She had no physical needs, and her body sometimes seemed transparent, clear as thawed water and only functioning with some obscure Arcane magic.
Her mind have changed as well - as she protected her Charge, completed her main goal, Omou was no longer interested in herself. Instead, she decided to help everyone else to achieve their dreams, to put the light of hope in their hearts and to remind them of the beauty of love. Each year, with a help of a magical Murmur, she performs the Dream Festival at the Temple of Soul, where everyone gather and share their future plans, hopes, worries and sacred dreams, no matter how strange they might seem.

Dreams do come true. Storytime, y'all.

So at 20th of May 2015, only TWO days after I registered, cutie pie @Xandrala befriended me and was the sweetest sempai you can ever wish for. Of course as a very fresh newbie, I was all in that OHMIGOD SO MANY DRAGONS EVERYWHERE mode, so I was staring at their lair and this Dragon was in there. Unnamed, only 10 days old. That was love. I wanted to buy her. But the girl was either sold or gifted to someone else before I managed to even ask.
I thought, haha, it must be simple to breed such a dragon on my own! I'll do it in no time! Silly Kame. So without basic knowledge of genes and colour wheel I threw two of my dragons (one of which happened to be Savior, her twin bro) on the nest, and BloodyRain was born. Almost same, but with different tert (let's be honest, RNG Gods really smiled upon me that time). I was satisfied for like a month.
But that damn dragon idea wasn't letting me alone, so I checked on Unnamed Guardian lady once again, and was terrified - she was hungry on inactive account. Being sad asfck, I tried dragon search, and found Volt - Nocturne with same colours, and charged 150kt - very expensive for a newbie. My original idea was to gene her into a Guardian and SpeckleFreckle - but scrolls were expensive, and gradually... I realised those genes and breed are low-tier, lmao. And that Volt is perfect just as she is, with her IriShim. I once again checked on Unnamed Guardian - still hungry. Well, at least she wasn't exalted.
I gave up on breeding and searching - after all, all the similar colour dragons were different dragons, not that one which I fell in love with. I was looking at her from time to time - still hungry and frozen in time.
Year passed - another did. I switched my Flight to Arcane - slightly bc I remembered how sweet those pink eyes looked on that lady.
Once procrastinating, I looked up her, Unnamed again - AND HOLY ARCANIST SHE WAS NOW WELL-FED??? With shaking hands I mailed to her owner, @Meowmix, that, maybe, they would be so kind to sell her? And they were like yea sure, would 10 gems be fair to you? I swear I. MY WHOLE LIFE WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR HER!!! It was two years from the moment I saw her. She managed to survive for this long only to return to her true home.
Now she is with me. Never changing her genes. With me loving her to death.
I feel like I completed some kind of an epic quest here on FR.
If only everyone here were able to get their silly newbie dream dergs.
